Milford, CT - Seasoned NASA Northeast racer, Dan Honovich signs with Team GenRacer to drive the #75 Hyundai Genesis Coupe in the upcoming Pirelli World Challenge Series race in Austin Texas. The Grand Prix of Texas is a very large event for this season as it runs on the famous Formula One track of USA, Circuit of the Americas. The weekend of events include two rounds of Touring Car racing as well as three rounds of GT-X. The 3.4-mile undulating racetrack features dramatic, natural elevation changes, including a 133-foot climb up to its signature Turn 1. The 20-turn circuit incorporates some of the best-loved and most challenging turns from other iconic Formula 1 tracks. Genracer feels very confident at a great result at this event after coming off a good performance at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. "The track suits our cars" explained Jeff Ricca. "Long straights and heavy braking corners are some of the key features our cars have as well as long high speed corners. I feel that our two car effort will be a success."
