GENRACER RETURNS TO VIR WITH SRO TC AMERICA
(Milford, CT) GenRacer returns to Virginia International Raceway this weekend in search of another podium finish. After a successful battle at Circuit of the Americas where Jeff Ricca took the top step at the podium winning on Saturday, GenRacer expects to have good results in Alton, Virginia. The team historically has been quick at VIR and the continued development on the Hyundai Veloster N keeps moving in the right direction. “VIR offers a unique venue to put the performance of our Veloster N’s on display” say’s team owner and driver Jeff Ricca. “We’ve always been fast at VIR, and with the first few events under our belt I believe we’ll finish well.”
Being the first event in the SRO TC America calendar that allows spectators, VIR will be an exciting change of pace. Having fans back at the races not only capitalizes on exposure and sponsorship, but finally brings a sense of normalcy back to the paddock. To welcome fans back to the event the GenRacer team will have both Hyundai Veloster N’s on display at the team tent to showcase the 2021 platform.
In addition to Liquimoly and XClutch supporting the GenRacer 2021 race season, the team has also partnered with Whelen Engineering. Headquartered in Chester, CT, Whelen Engineering not only is a global leader in the emergency warning industry but has strong ties to the racing community.
