Ricca Autosport sets its eyes on another Manufacturer and Team championship in TC America with Hyundai Motor America. Off season manufacturing of five Hyundai Elantra N TC cars have begun in conjunction with Hyundai Motor America partnership. “We are hard at work here at the shop preparing five new Elantra N touring cars” states owner Jeff Ricca. “We had a dominant season in the touring car class and we will be back with more entries in 2024”. Ricca Autosport finished on the top step 8 out of the 14 rounds in Touring Car America last season. With a well sorted car that had no DNFs or issues, the Hyundai Elantra N TC is the best choice for any driver to campaign in the series.
“The cost of running these cars is efficient and effective for this series, it only makes sense to invest in more of these cars for our fleet. The upcoming season will surely be exciting to see these cars on track”. These Hyundai Elantra N TC cars are DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) Paddle shifted and put down around 310hp to the front wheels, making it a very dependable platform. The cars are also equipped with air jacks, an ATL fuel cell and paired with Sparco safety equipment.
The team works closely with Korean counterparts in the Hyundai N Festival series that is known for the largest one-make racing series in South Korea. The technology partnership enables fast, reliable cars that drivers need to succeed. The close partnership with Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Company brings a massive value to the program and to the series. This means more fan and NClub activation at events, a Hyundai contingency program for racers and eyes on those drivers that pose potential to compete with Hyundai in various series and events, like the 24 hours of Nurburging
Ricca Autosport continues their shared roles with Genracer, the leader in aftermarket Hyundai parts in the USA, to ensure partners and product development are continued on the race track. Genracer’s years of product testing has been shown to be a testament of the long partnerships they have grown with aftermarket part manufactures and their customers trust their product offerings and knowledge.
